Events at the Panther Valley Public Library

Dear Panther Valley Library Patrons,

Wow, the past twelve months have flown by!! Here at the Panther Valley Public Library, we had an extremely busy year with several exciting programs offered. Our staff, which is made up 100% of volunteers who donate their time and talents for the community, continues to be dedicated to providing informational, educational, recreational programs as well as social and professional assistance to our patrons of all ages.

In addition to our regular Library services, this year we offered several special programs, including tax prep assistance for senior citizens, reading programs for preschoolers, and a  6 week summer reading program for elementary age children.  During this fun summer program, “Build a Better World,” children built their own community right here at the Library. The activities surrounding their creation, Ice Cream Town, taught them how to work together, share ideas, and most of all, have fun!  We are proud to offer all of these services and programs free of charge to the Panther Valley community.

At this time, the Panther Valley Public Library does NOT receive any local or state funding.  This is due to the size of our community and the resources available.  Therefore, we must rely completely on donations from the generous community members like you to keep our doors open.

We want to extend our sincere thanks for your past support and respectfully ask you to consider making a gift this year to help keep our Library open and thriving for the Panther Valley community.  A gift of any size will go a long way to help us continue offering these fun and exciting programs for our patrons. A gift of $100.00 will allow us to add 10 books to our collection or provide supplies for 5 children for our summer reading program.

To make your gift, visit our website at http://www.panthervalleypubliclibrary.com and donate online.  You can also mail or drop off a check made payable to “Panther Valley Library.”  Gifts of $100 or more will make you eligible for our Gold Card Club which entitles you to one full year with zero fines or fees.

Thank you in advance for considering a gift to the Panther Valley Public Library.  Together, we can enrich our community and make reading fun for people of all ages!

Happy Reading!
